His body is now lifeless, but somehow they were able to transcribe the electrical impulses from his brain, seemingly in absolute stillness, to a computer that would verify that indeed there was something common to the whole of existence, that there were no coincidences, that a body and mind stripped of its individual awareness is given a collective understanding of existence.
